Shamanism

This wonderful Spiritual practice goes back thousands of years, it is the oldest Spiritual practice known to humankind. The word Shaman comes from the Tungus Tribe in Siberia and means “one who sees in the dark”, Shamanism is and has been practiced in parts of Native North & South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Greenland.
Shamanism enable us to see that everything that exists is alive and has a spirit, everything on earth is interconnected.
A Shaman or a Shamanic practitioner, uses a form of percussion either rattling or drumming to go into a altered state, to travel to hidden realms, in these realms there are spirits that with the Shaman or Shamanic practitioner, mainly two types teachers in human form& power animals/guardian spirits, virtually every animal has a meaning in the Shamanic world, if it appears in a shamanic journey or ceremony.
The hidden worlds that the Shaman or Shamanic practitioner travels to are the upper world, the middle world and the lower world.
These magical spirits help the Shaman or the Shamanic practitioner to give healings, bring back gifts to people, the environment and the community; they are also sought at times when guidance is needed.
With Shamanism you do not need any kind of faith or belief, it is there for all to experience, it works and gets awesome results.
